The other day I bought probiotics for dogs at the veterinary hospital and found a ragdoll cat on the veterinarian's desk.

That night, a friend told me that the ragdoll cat, which was worth 10,000 yuan, was abandoned because of urination.

What is urination? To put it simply, it is like a human kidney stone. Crystals are formed in the bladder of the cat, blocking the bladder and even the urethra, causing the cat to be unable to urinate. Once the cat cannot urinate, it is easy to cause kidney failure.

Most of the cats with this disease are male cats, because male cats are born with urethral strictures, and after neutering, they are prone to gain weight and reduce exercise, which greatly increases the possibility of male cats suffering from urinary retention.

Once the cat has urinary retention, it needs to go to the hospital to manually catheterize.

The more headache is still to come. Even after the cure, once the owner does not take care of it properly, the urinary retention will immediately recur. Once it recurs, catheterization and even surgery will have to be repeated.

The ragdoll cat in this article relapsed 3 times within a year. Each time the cat was hospitalized for half a month, the owner had to take care of it without paying any money. The owner collapsed and abandoned the cat directly in the pet hospital.

That's why I was relieved when I saw the note left by the owner of Garfield, because the cat's urination is really a headache.

After seeing too many cases of cats being abandoned by their owners because of urination, and even happy, I came to a conclusion that it is best not to let cats suffer from urination.

The method is also very simple. Give the cat more water. Take a 10-pound cat as an example. If the cat litter clumps it urinates a day is not the size of 1.5 duck eggs (other body weights are converted by themselves), it means that the cat drinks water. Insufficient, the owner needs to trick it to drink water.

It's actually very simple to trick cats into drinking water. Boil chicken breast with water, and let the cat eat the meat and soup. If you don't eat or drink, you can force-feed water with a needle.
