This little brother Rich East from Australia is an optimist. After getting tired of the worldly life, he decided to quit his job and sell his house to travel around the world!

Because he couldn't worry about his little black cat Willow, he simply took it with him. So one person and one cat started an adventure!

Together they walked through forests, swam beaches, crossed deserts, and took a boat to the Great Barrier Reef together to see the beauty of Australia.

Their home is this van, which is small but can meet all the needs of life, Rich said: "Maybe this 'house' is a little small, but the whole of Australia is my backyard."

As of February 2017, Rich and Willow have travelled across six Australian states and two territories.

Rich put a tracking collar on Willow, so he wasn't afraid that he would get lost, and sometimes he would let him play alone.

They rely on each other like this, watching the beautiful scenery!

He has set up a special social account on Ins, where he shares what he sees and hears every day, and is liked by many people, and he also listens to the messages of netizens all over the world.

Someone asked if Rich sold his house and quit his job to travel, would he be a little too self-willed?

He said he needed to make some changes to pursue something that made him happy. Although the process is a bit slow, he now feels that he is much happier than before!

Some people are also curious, after traveling to so many places, is the money really enough to sell the house?

In fact, every time Rich goes to a place, he will first find a job to make a sum of money, and then this money will be used as the cost of his own travel!

He also did a charity thing, using Willow's photos to make a calendar for 2019, and the sales fees were used to donate to research on motor neurone disease (ALS). At present, the sales have exceeded 3,000 Australian dollars. This makes a career that you love even more meaningful!

During his time with Willow, Rich said Willow has taught him many things, such as: happiness is a very simple thing, in life, we expect too much, and happiness will become less. Having something to eat, a tent to live in, and feeling a little love is already a very happy thing.

Rich and Willow's journey has not stopped, and they will go further in the future!

So when we are unhappy, we think that there are so many beautiful scenery outside waiting for us to explore, and there are so many things waiting for us to do. Every day is the most important!
