Dogs often cry, is it really okay for the eyes?

Some shovel officers got emotional. They say their dog cries and sheds tears, but they don't look closely at the dog's eyes. Sometimes a dog cries not because the dog cries because he is sad, but because the dog has too much eye drops and tears.

Especially for white-haired dogs like Samoyed, VIP, Bomi, and Bichon, their tears are very obvious. Excessive eye feces and tear stains not only affect the appearance of the dog, but also cause hidden dangers to the dog's health.

In fact, under any circumstances, it is normal for dogs to have eye droppings. Just like humans have eye poop, dogs have secretions from their eyes and tear ducts. Normal eye discharge is usually colorless, white or brown. It is very common for dogs to have a small amount of colorless or brown eye discharge in their eyes. Usually no obvious abnormalities can be found by ophthalmic examination. Sometimes a lump forms in the inner corner of the eye with these discharges, which clear up easily.

If the dog has severe tears in the inner corner of the eyes, it is difficult to clean up, and the shit shoveler will take care of it! Usually this time means the dog's eyes are not the same. Is it because some dog has bad tears?

Causes of dog poop and severe tear stains:

The dog's internal fire is too strong: it may be caused by spicy and dry food.

Foreign matter enters the eye body: the hair is too long, the air, dust, and debris irritate the eyes.

Diseases caused by inflammation: mostly caused by strong liver fire. A small percentage of keratitis is caused by inflammation.

When there is a problem with the dog's eyes, the secretion of eye mucus is dark and turbid, not only in the corner of the eye, but also around the eye. This usually occurs when the dog eats too much of something like offal. Or the dog ate too much salt. When the excrement shoveler feeds dogs with dog food, they need to choose low-salt content or natural dog food to feed dogs.

When the dog's ears are infected with ear mites, bacteria, viruses, or ear pain, itching, inflammation and other symptoms, there will also be symptoms of excessive eye mucus and heavy tears. At this time, the root nerve in the ear extends to the ophthalmic nerve, which stimulates the lacrimal gland to secrete vigorously, making the "nasolacrimal duct" that shunts tears unbearable. Eventually, some tears will spill from the corners of the eyes, and gradually your dog's tear stains will become more and more obvious.

For the dog's usual eye care, the excrement shoveler can first dip a cotton swab in warm water to clean up the feces and secretions in the eyes. In most cases, excess discharge from a dog's eyes is caused by a fire.

If the dog is born with a blocked nasolacrimal duct, the "nasolacrimal duct" that diverts tears due to infection becomes inflamed, swollen, and tears cannot be discharged normally, then the excrement shoveler will regularly take the dog to the pet hospital to clear it~
